Most of the JP gens are disjointed because nothing mandated them to do shit together and gen unity wasn't a priority. Yagoo wanted to push gen unity starting with Gen 5, but the forced agenda got blown up pretty early. Fortunately they naturally bonded anyway. Then he went hard with HoloX.
Anyway, even if Myth unity is a bit clunky, it's still a far cry of whatever Gen 2 is.
