It's just the same thing that happens every decade, and while I don't personally like the majority of 2020s pop music as it doesn't match the style I like - it doesn't make it bad instantly.
Spotify fucked up the charts as well by bringing back songs from the past into the mix, now removing chances for current artists to gain exposure by doing what most of us would do naturally anyways and mixing some modern tracks with older hits.
I can say with 100% confidence that people will still look back fondly at The Weeknd's Blinding Lights as an example.
