You are the company you keep, and what Rushia did was fucking vile. So even though I'm not a gachi and don't care for GFE, I can't help but think that the other Holos hung around this broad and were OK with how she was exploiting her fanbase. And if they were OK with that, what do they think about their own fans?
And it's not just Hololive. For example, Hana and Enna from Nijisanji got on the bad side of /vt/ schizos because they criticized unicorns. That's par for the course and I used to think it was really funny, until this shitstorm made me think it over. Because they criticized *unicorns*, but they were completely mute on GFE as a concept, and on the vtubers that exploit the concept. Even though, from their position on the inside looking out, it should have been extremely clear that GFE whores are every bit as vile as the most incel gachikoi. And if they were willing to criticize the audience but not these people, then what am I supposed to infer that they think of their fans? And if it is disdain, what am I supposed to infer that their genmates who hang around them think of theirs?
I work hard for the money I have. It's not wrong to be wary of giving it to people who think I'm a moron for doing so.
