Don't address it directly. Don't address it indirectly. Don't even imply that you know that drama is happening.
She is the smartest of the ENs when it comes to this kind of thing because she correctly recognizes that her audience doesn't keep up with all this shit and most of them don't know or don't care that it's happening. So by refusing to introduce and expose her audience to the "drama" she completely robs the conversation of oxygen. None of the ENs and most chuubas just generally are smart enough to realize that by addressing the drama they're feeding the fire, legitimizing it as a topic of discussion, and exposing it to a bunch of people who otherwise would not have known or cared about it.
None of this shit takes a brilliant mind to figure out, but it goes to show just how horrendously ill-equipped most chuubas are when it comes to media training and life in the spotlight.
