Even roasted the content creators and enjoyers a bit. Something contradictory I noticed though, it would seem a forgone conclusion that anyone looking at things like that would have some severe mental aberrations but then, I noticed something about my own reactions to their work: It was stimulating my own empathy. I'd feel the urge to protect them and want to do something to balance out the bleakness and horror depicted. Like spending more time around animals and showing them affection and care. I don't feel the need to delve into things like that anymore but from that, as messed up as it is and while yes, there are of course some genuine, deeply disturbed sadists involved. My own experience showed me that it wasn't necessarily all about that for everyone, so I felt better about It's popularity then and maybe Meat is getting the same strange response that I've had?
