Really, when you think about it I think it makes more sense that Mori is the one who is getting disillusioned by Gura. Just like a lot of people she probably eexpected Gura to be a musical powerhouse, but her complete lack of ambition is probably driving her, someone with ambition, completely bonkers. You can tell that she had plans initially to take over Vtuber music with Gura in tow but that never manifested due to Gura being a lazy piece of shit who only wants to rest on her coattails.
