It was so much that talking about certain anime was considered bait and banned. You could not talk about Naruto without your thread getting deleted and banned. Shounen in general was like this. moot hated this atmosphere and made a board event all about Naruto with a song about it and a theme. It is one of the main things that destroyed the board. On top of sacking the mod who allowed this atmosphere.
