>>89269018I would recommend eventually securing an area because the constant biter clearing would soak up your time, if you use efficiency modules in your miners and furnaces you can significantly cut down on pollution and only pollution triggers large attacks so you can get away with the bare minimum defenses capable of dealing with an expansion party for dozens of hours
