>>33991983Ah right. It's a decently sized port. Probably a regional capital as well. Expect the docks to be fairly large and numerous. Warehouse would be present but don't expect there to be too many of them. Most of its economic activity other than trade with the saplings is fishing and maybe whaling(not sure whether whales similar to real life ones would be around the opening of a gulf like there).
Buildings would be in a mix of bricks and cement supplemented with sand and limestone, reinforced with metal. There will be campuses and libraries like in almost every city. There will be some pretty heavy coastal defense around the port since it's the opening of the gulf and thus an important choke point that works with the islands north of the peninsula.
