Who would do it? Pekora for sure. She has the hugest audience, giving her huge negotiating power, and she's been bitching about overwork and would likely love a jump from a small black company to a giant megacorp for a huge payday. Plus there's probably tons of Sony games she wants to play and wouldn't have to fight for permissions to do so anymore.
Coco would probably hop on board too, given that her "creative freedom" reason for leaving amounted to being able to show her tits and cooch on stream. As long as she fights for the right to be able to do cosplay and IRL stuff, she would probably work under a huge brand name again.
On the EN side, Gura may be less likely than the two above, but she has complained about management overreach before, and being the most subber VTuber with a previous life that also reached 1M subs, she would have the biggest negotiating position, and her contract with Hololive was up once a year passed AFAIK.
If those three alone jumped ship, sony would have the power triad of Live viewers, Gachikoi money, and Sub numbers off the bat. Who would be able to stop them at that point?
