Pekora was banking on Moona leaving Hololive early so she could squeeze some emotional interactions, just like she did with Aqua. Obviously Moona didn't quit so the bunny distanced herself from her over time but she will definitely come back for some PekoMoon if Moona announced her graduation in the future.
