i would say it probably capitalizes more on male loneliness in general than just pure sex. some of the vtubers may seem embarrassed or ashamed to do more sexual content, but theyre not all as hesitant to embrace the romance, which is what i think drives away the female audience. if youre not a dyke, the yuribaiting and GFE/gachikoi farming probably isnt doing anything for you.
are there any vtubers for fem fans? do people actually like watching male vtubers? i do wish this wasnt a male-dominated hobby but i dont know what you'd change to make that not be true.
