That is an INCREDIBLY parasocial thing to say. And yet, you don't hold them to any standards at all. If you are parasocial with them you should insist they keep their part of the bargain with you.
Instead it's a weird, twisted dynamic where you insist you're not parasocial, while also insisting "I'm happy for them", and then gleefully grinning while they shit all over you.
What the fuck? It's such an abusive dynamic.
