Last year it was just the usual security issues and the whole fractured ass incident got put under the rug as "shit organization" which is a common thing on cons.
Sexual assault and harassment is on a whole new level of fuck up. This will go hot for a while, eventually lose strength because people only love fresh drama. But when twitchcon 2026 gets announced shit like picrel will be brought back again, the usual grifters will make some videos and that will reduce attendance and streamers going in. It won't die because low-tier fleshies and eternal 2views will still go, and get harassed, but no one will give a shit because they aren't big enough.
As I said, best case scenario is that twitchcon turns into a small con with most of their high ranked streamers not attending.
That'd be great because it means less vtubers will try to approach that piece of shit con.
