I've considered trying to make one myself, not to compete with Vedal or anything, but just as a project, it would be nice to have my own little Neuro-sama. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, as they say. I don't have the hardware for it though, I could host the LLM on an old gaming laptop but there would still be a lot of latency and I would probably never get close to the technical level Vedal and Neuro are at in terms of features and integrating everything.
The thing that makes Neuro special is the human element and her relation with Vedal and her friends. People would get bored of just a non-stop LLM slop stream pretty quickly. Even Vedal himself realized this even though he was trying to make Neuro completely autonomous so he wouldn't have to show up on stream. I myself don't think I have the charisma to even compare with Vedal even if I did set up my own AI vtuber, I would also spill my spaghetti when it came to collabs with other vtubers.
