That's easy, Niji has pure JP numbers and Hololive has Jp numbers and global. For the merch situation Niji has more fanbase variety be it brotuber, comedians, shitpoters, gosling, e-sports, utaite, shippers, etc. meanwhile Hololive has limited fanbase due to it's gosling/idol focus market

tl:dr Nijisanji is more flexible on attracting interest and fanbase while Holo is too rigid
