Absolutely nothing wrong with drawing from Japan, though you might want to know that quite a few nations are inspired by Japan, given how predominant Japanese culture is in vtubing. But again, there's nothing wrong with that, it's a bit like Japan-esque culture was predominant worldwide instead of the anglo-saxon influence that is found everywhere IRL.
