Gen a bunch of low res, pick out the good ones, switch to pony, and png info -> img2img upscale and only replace the character name with the pony character LoRA + character tags. Denoise at 0.5.
The upscaling with my pony model and artist mix seems to do a pretty good job and turning the bright and fried Illust output into my pony style.
