The most I'm keeping in mind is their heights in relation to one another for example, Nene is taller than Flare, Polka, and Watame, with the sheep being the shortest. I also try to picture height at what would likely be acceptable or believable within the world, like how Botan is pretty tall, even being able to stand a head above anon. While by their canon numbers, she's still a shorty, it just doesn't fit the idea of an alpha lion girl. At the end of the day though, as long as Marine isn't suddenly taller than Botan or Noel, you're fine to change things up as you need to.
