Realistically, how long do we have before Hololive is over? I don't necessarily mean the company closing, but enough of the pillars of Hololive graduating that it reaches critical mass and the identity of Hololive is changed beyond recognition?
I consider the main pillars to be: Sora, Suisei, Fubuki, Miko, Korone, Haachama, Marine, Pekora, Mori, Gura, Ame.
I think best case scenario we have ~3 years before many of the pillars graduate due to age and burnout, and depending on a few factors (direction of the company, investors, current events), maybe 1 or 2 years.
Nobody /here/ is completely sure of the details but Hololive is clearly changing for the worse. Blackrock investors are gaining influence in the company and multiple members (A chan, Aqua, and now Ame) are choosing now to leave the company. I suspect a few more pillars will quit over the next year because they disagree with the direction Hololive is taking. I wouldn't be surprised if Fubuki makes her move soon and decides to quit, and that would probably be the final nail in the coffin. She's one of the earliest members of Hololive, has considerable sway with management and other members, has a good reputation with fans because of her conduct during the China drama, and is responsible for dragging many people /here/ down the rabbit hole (She got me with her Astronomia cover). Does anyone know when her contract expires? Google says she joined in June 2018 so that leads me to believe the final yab could happen June 2025.
