>>29836528The way I see it, there's nothing you can do to "talk her down". It's not our place to do so, as much as it hurts knowing she feels this way. That's something only herself and her family can do. Anything we try to say with words when she's breaking down will only come across as meaningless platitudes. The best we can do as viewers is make the good times as good as possible, showing our love and appreciation through art and attention.
