the way Nijisanji operates is completely backhanded too in that they try to have some BFE/GFE types, have custom songs, make a big deal out of 3D events where they do choreographed dances and such.. you know, idol type things, yet at the same time they aren't an idol company and you'd be hard pressed to find an idol fan among EN especially these days now that Pomu left. Honestly with time Pomu became the odd one out in the branch, there was never another one like her and it stands to reason there simply never will be because a girl who likes idols a lot will know that she'll be hated by a lot of idol fans just for being in nijiEN by association with how else it runs and what its other members have said and done about these kinds of things.
nijiEN runs like a company that for example, purportedly makes sports cars, but it also openly fucking hates sports car drivers despite aiming to rely on them, and doesn't hide it. it's some of the stupidest fucking business moves I have EVER seen. they act surprised when sports car enthusiasts don't like them at all, and the fans the company does attract are other people who also hate sports car drivers. but they don't actually like the cars much, the product is pearls before swine for them.
