>>11327570Saying "it just works like that" vs knowing how it works is the starting point to learning how to speak like a native. You'll get the point across either way, and in spoken word it has no harm, but it's still good to know how it is used properly.
When I was a kid back in kindergarden/first grade, I knew jack shit of english because niggerspic household but niggermom left. But as you learn and use the language more and more, especially if you read a lot, you pick up on the little nuances that separate a native speaker and a ESL.
When I speak spanish, I think in english, then spit those thoughts back out in spanish. Spanish speakers just think in spanish, so it comes easier to them. Same with most secondary/trinary languages.
