I mean I guess. I feel like I'd say that anyways if I actually thought it was clever, but to be honest if I have to make an effort to actively do this every time we're together that just sounds like the real advice is "be patronizing and/or manipulative".
Which I can do don't get me wrong, but then that seems like I'm selecting for someone who I'd ultimately have a bad time with. Am I wrong here?
