Emotional abuse is exquisite. Playing with my emotions, pushing me to the precipice of just letting him go, before he love bombs me and pulls me back tight into his arms and feeling safe and loved. Feeling like I'm home. He does it over and over again, contending with my erratic emotions, gauging and mastering when to pull back and when to attack, until he has broken me down so completely that everything he says or does is perfection in my eyes.
