As nobles, merchants, and generals are convinced into joining the faith, they become our eyes and ears. An entire merchant's guild becomes an agent of Matiyotl trade, dukes letting the cult spread in their domain, generals ready to assassinate their colleagues to prevent enemy nations from starting.

If a nation suddenly wishes to invest in Matiyotl services and goods in a manner of months, that's a sign their economic administration ahs been infiltrated. If a local baron intentionally turned a blind eye towards raids in a coastal district and instead purposefully invest more into relocating people there, then the noble is a collaborator tending sheep to be slaughtered. If your general, minister, megacorp guild owner, or any person of high status and influence attempt every ounce of their life to prevent any form of aggression against Matiyotl, then they are agents.
