For human players though - sure, buying dips usually turns a profit, if it doesnt immediately it will at some fucking time.
But for a quick example, imagine buying a Roboco or Aki dip, your returns will be $200 in the best imaginable case. If those 5 Roboco bought you one Gura 2-3 hours ago you already made the $200 and get divvies on top of that as well as a fat bonus from the outfit reveal. Those are the considerations flowing into a statement like "buying every dip is not optimal". It would of course be with infinite money.
