Her first couple of designs were a huge filter and she didn't really do normal streams, so everyone pretty much ignored her. She got a little more popular when she joined (again) hololive, but she didn't have a real breakthrough until she debuted her current long haired design and did her first geoguessr stream. That caught the attention of the clippers, and Azki seized the opportunity and started doing more FOTM streams to keep farming clips and spread her name out there.
You just have to check her channel to see how much her content has changed over the years. She has worked really hard.
