>>79209702I think goody two shoes one can be good when balanced by a VERY entertaining villain (which is why part 1 works IMO), but I think even an edgy protagonist needs to be a goody two shoes at heart, which is a tough balance to strike without being cheesy, Nero is pretty good in DMC4 but he's just under the good-guy threshhold before "he's kind of a moody guy" stops being believeable.
