>>26512848The thing is, when you're nobody you don't have the merit of the clout of your name being good-enough reason for talented girls to join. You'll get a bunch of people LARPing that they're Holo/Niji Jr. while you larp as a Holo manager/CEO. This may be satisfactory to all involved for a bit, for the girls being able to say they were the cream of the crop of an audition process boosting confidence/willingness to go with the company, and for you being able to pretend to be a lil' Yagoo. If you get even a trickle of subs/money coming in, on seeing tangible success, having more than what you started out with you'll get that "it's starting awww yeah, anyday now, we're gonna really take off"kind of optimism... but, few small corpos have demonstrated an ability to move beyond that and eventually start to sink when seeing growth/income tapering out, that the sky may in fact not be the limit after all. It seems like every single small corpo has between medium to extra-large baggage somewhere in the background and there seems to be a lot of angst internally between management and talents trying to figure out/blame each other for the girls/company not meeting their expectations in results. Not to mention even if you DO find someone excellent and amazing who props up your income/the company's morale? She may just get poached anyway and/or think she's too good for your company and go indie.
Don't expect anything good to happen even if you do basically everything right, because small corpos are just bands of people larping and practicing for their Holo/Niji applications. You would have to pull several extraordinarily talented, committed girls who will not ditch you and who would be truly yab-free and be able to be held to the absolute highest standards. A lot of these types who maybe have some idea what they're doing are already indies who think you'll only offer them a debuff/take some of their pay for little in return. The vetting of who to take in is just tough shit when you might literally only have like 30 applicants of which 27 are god awful and you intended to start with 5 so go with a couple OK ones and grit your teeth and take someone with bad yabs or a shit attitude from the getgo.
