especially made apparent when they talk about people like adam smasher, johny silverhand or rache bartmoss as this legendary figures that are mentioned only in passing while in the game they're taking more of the center stage.
despite the cast in the anime essentially are just bottom-tier fodders and the ending of the anime being trash, it's actually working to their benefit as it elevate the main narrative of the game because mc in the game actually achieve shit and you're playing as that character which helps you feel like you're actually fixing the shitty ending of the anime.
