I dont think anyone expected holoEN to do this good at all, and for good reason. This was a massive flash in the pan that niji will not be able to replicate. Having a streamer like Ina with 20k viewers on what might as well be a zatsudan is not something you can just do. Gura mooning past literally every other streamer is not a plannable event.
I dont know how good their scouting team is but unless they do the impossible and make holoEN again, the EN vtuber fanbase is already consolidated.
Niji missed the november vtuber pump, will buy low and stay low.
If they're good and also very rude they'll time it against JP gen6 and steal that hype instead. EN pumped the IDs, they can and will pump EN gen2 no problem, niji knows they cant compete against them.
