Short version is that I was really impressed by just how much of the groundwork he set for modern psychology and art/mythological analysis, like the concept of the "archetype", the anima/animus, and so on. Maybe I'll post the paper somewhere - with all identifying info redacted, of course - for you buds to read, if anyone's interested.
