Maybe I could write something about a tired traveler stumbling into the clan on accident in the middle of some kind of mating ritual with Kindred girls literally in the process of getting knocked up. The traveler has two options: Join or be killed, because nobody can witness the ~sacred breeding rites~ and leave alive. I imagine that sort of thing is top-secret and a high honor to partake in, so nobody can leave with the knowledge alive.
