Aside from that, because there isn't any kind of industry to speak of there could be innumerable untapped resources like minerals and gems that lie just beneath the surface. While many high-ranking Saplings can be seen with jewlery, the gems they harvest are usually found the good old fashion way like breaking apart rocks or picking them off walls in the caves they explore.
