I want to make a digital archive of Gura's karaoke covers. Something permanent. I keep going back to my YT playlist of clips, and every time I do there's a new video on it that's been removed for whatever reason, and I don't even know what song it is unless I go through the whole list.
Would other people be interested in a permanent, downloadable archive of this content? I was thinking, get a HQ rip of each karaoke downloaded (I think I have them all already, but worth doing a double check to make sure), then rip each song into its own file, with a consistent naming scheme and full metadata whatevers filled out, then put it up on a mega and/or torrent.
What filetypes would you want from such an archive if you were to use it? Personally I'd lean towards mp3 just so I can throw it on audio devices (namely stream it to myself from my phone), but I can see people wanting FLAC for lossless audio or even mp4 to maintain the video. I could do all of the above, but that'd triple the work and probably 10x the final file size...
Is this a worthwhile endeavor, or should I just do whatever I want so I can always have Gura with me whenever I want her and not have to worry about people taking down their random YT clip videos in the future?
