Despite how popular Fauna is with the number-adjacent threads, the general consensus within /uuu/ is usually that we're pretty happy with Fauna being right where she is. Too much bigger and we might fall into gura territory, too much of a drop and Fauna or management might start to cause deviations in standard programming (forced collabs, FOTM games, etc).
The "perma-/uuu/" faction seems to be largely backed by:
Assuming honest intentions:
- Saplings wanting a permanent home
- Wanting to discuss Fauna during off-hours (tweets, mentions in other streams, holo-news and how it might impact her, etc)
- Containment (this is only generously in the "honest intentions" camp since there isn't much evidence of other generals regarding saplings in general as pests)
Assuming less than honorable intentions:
- "Brown feet generals". AKA, a perfect breeding-ground for anti-posting
- rrat threads. Some anons really just want to wildly speculate about PLs, roommates, etc
- Begging. Collab-begging, content-begging, gameplay criticism (darksouls was a huge show of face for this one), etc.
