>>77534851After almost 5 years of being active within the vtuber sphere (not counting the early Kizuna Ai phase), I have finally come to the conclusion that I don't really care for any chuuba in a genuine way. 99% of times their content doesn't excite me, I don't feel the drive to engage with them or the community and only use them as background noise to not feel completely alone or just listen to ASMR videos at night to fall asleep. And while I think vtuing as a whole is a great concept, it doesn't really tick my boxes. Living in EU timezone, a lack of feeling relatable to their interests and experiences and having a bad attention span to "actively" watch a stream doesn't really help. Also whenever they display any sort of skill they have I become incredibly depressed since I've ditched my own skill or hobby reps for a long time already
And yet, I find myself on this board almost every day
