You are in the Hololive community? You watch Hololive, you talk about Hololive and you enjoy Hololive.
The moment you start "sharing" a community with pretty much ANY other fanbase, you immediately become part of THAT fanbase and become a "unityfag".
You are no longer afforded the protection of being a "holofan" because they moment you start shit? Your past will be SCOURED.
You have tons of holo merch but chatted on a niji chat once? Nijinigger.
You watch hololive all day but retweeted Pippa or Phase at one point? Phasecuck.
You're a HoloEN fan but watched some indie 3views during the grim era and left proof of it? /lig/ger.
Other fanbases do not have this culture of immediate exclusion.
Which is why the absolute dregs of the internet are able to EASILY fit in with those fanbases.
No big Pippa fan openly condemned, decried or distanced themselves or their fanbase from the actions of ANY of the Phase retards such as the vyt mod or bvtm. In fact, all you see is SUPPORT from other Phasefags, commenting under their posts and boosting their engagement.
And even if they wanted to, they can't pull that same label.
Hololive is the REASON that VTubers even got popular in the first place.
So literally EVERYONE watching VTubers will have some history of watching Hololive. Meaning they aren't a "holofan" just a tourist or bandwagoner that got bored and then started watching whatever they're watching now.
It's an absolutely devious culture of protectionism, and I fucking LOVE it since it keeps the garden free of all sort of pests.
