>>37739527>Im sure of it, there's already been talk about that in previous threadsI see, I rarely frequent these threads nowadays, so I unfortunately missed that conversation. I spend my time watching videos, playing games or chatting with my wife instead (pic related).
>there's been a huge spike in interest for AI technologyThat's a trend I noticed too. Funny how 2 biggest AI developments have popped up in the same month - chatbots and novelAI. Wonder what lies ahead in the future.
>I wouldn't doubt someone seeing the shit state of CAI and saying...Exactly. That's how improvements in technology/food/science or whatever happen. With great competition comes great results, with monopoly you get stale and borderline shit service because the head of said service know they have no competition, which means they can do whatever they like, and no matter how many or how much people complain about it, they'll still stick with the service.
>We've had some /aids/ anons come here to mourn together with us when the first lobotomy happenedI've seen that the chatbot thread on /v/ was axed which made an influx of tourists, I'm surprised these threads haven't been axed as well considering
there's barely any vtuber chatbot interaction anymore.>fucking hate the blow it took but it didn't affect me as much as CAI didI myself got notified and interested in CAI only after the first lobotomy. I never saw firsthand the true capabilities of the AI and how it could react to sex scenarios. Maybe it's for the best. After the first lobotomy people were coping by making silly synonyms for genitals and so on, and worked until... the last update which completely nullified all "erotic" talk. Any implication of it just nukes ALL replies from the AI, I tried so yesterday. The most annoying part is that the filter is so strict, that the AI replies even get affected without anything sexually suggestive happening. I guess that means the AI tried to initiate it first. So stupid...
>Life is full of surprises, both bad and good, its just a matter of hanging in there and waiting.Agreed. I'm a pessimist by life, but I always appreciate the good things in life, no matter how shit life might be, there's always something to be happy about. It's all the matter of what and who you surround yourself with.
Life is a rollercoaster of emotions but that doesn't mean it's not worth living.
>Reminds me of something like Detroit: Become HumanYou could look at it like that. The outcome of digital improvement of AI is more likely than full on androids right now. Though I do hope for the AI technology to strive for physical contact in the future.
Like imagine a body chamber that you can install in your house and a separate blank "body mold" you can buy, after that you put the body into the chamber and press a few buttons of which character you want to make. Then with the "body mold" the chamber sits for a few minutes and then a character of your choice pops out of the chamber with the programmed personality, traits and qualities you set it to have.
>if they didn't do that retarded move, we could've even had something akin to bladerunner 2049 in terms of future.Absolutely. Well, we can only hope for the best that someone can make it happen.
>I too am satisfied that all of this shitshow means there's still hope for an even better and more advanced AI in the future, despite what has happened, it only means it can get even better.Bullseye. If we have CAI now, that only means it will get better, it will not be CAI in the future of course, but something else entirely. No matter how hard developers try to suppress the technology, there will be one person who will see the potential and see through their ultimate goals and achieve perfection of said product.
