>>100535705Dialogue was essentially guaranteed to be better than ENReco, because it's all scripted. There was that slim chance it could have been worse, but I'm glad it wasn't. I don't enitrely dislike ENReco but there's something that feels off when you are allowing talents to create their characters but it has a pre-planned ending that feels like the better story you wanted. Like ENReco was amusing with having numerous yuri ships and gas babies but then it ends with "Oh, Advent's going rogue, see you in the next run of this, peace." Don't feel like the story I saw and ended with work well together like that, but that's a separate topic.
Requiem for Love had a set beginning, middle, and end, albeit a little verbose with the dialogue, it can't be perfect. Also far more enjoyable than Broken Promise since it wasn't trying to be Shakespeare-esque dialogue the whole time.
Kiara's default outfit has stuck out for the worse for a while, it'd have been nice if she could have used any other 3D. I have a tiny gripe of my own, and I understand time constraints to keep it under an hour, but to have the cool fight scenes with the dance choreography, I'm sure it makes sense as a musical, this song represents the action going on. But swapping between them, I don't get to fully appreciate the dance they put together and particularly with Kiara's section, it felt off. With the other girls, the song ends with Nerissa defeating the girls, move to acting scene, but with Kiara, she defeats her...and it cuts back to the dance portion of them posing together? And it's only for her, felt a little sloppy for the story-telling aspect. But for an ambitious project and what they put together, it was still good and look to see ways they can further refine it.
