I think the logic is Vshojo JP could have prepared the models/animation/other assets in advance and the auditions were to find people who match models/can play a character for them. So the JP auditions could be set up to have a faster turn around than the EN ones since only one member already exists. But, I also think that would be a strange departure from everything Vshojo has done up to this point. So the other possibility is that these are members Loutlot gathered/invited who were likely vtubing elsewhere/doing another creative endeavor beforehand and the JP auditions are still being processed. I see the logic behind either, but the former still seems very odd for Vshojo to do imo.
