I think Deron was one of the first VTubers I ever discovered when I found out that VTubers were more than just Kizuna Ai and could also just do full video game streams. I was super into Fortnite at the time and was looking around to see if any Japanese people streamed it. And so I found this girl who stood out to me because she looked like the DDLC girl but with silver hair, and she was playing Fortnite with someone named Roboco. Both of them had 3D models so at the time I assumed that's what all VTubers were. Later on I found out about Live2D models somehow.
