Games journos are a joke and no one takes them seriously anymore and a lot of garbage games that push agendas flopped too so that stuff should be irrelevant but the mindset is the same one we see with catalogfags here, there has to be someone to be dramatic about and angry at always. Industry crunch/being paid for less, etc was being dismissed mostly last I checked, but I’m split on the issue, understanding that the modern problem and the old version of it are different things, highlighted here:
