If the livers continue to stubbornly pretend nothing's wrong then the only people that will continue watching are the diehard stans that are completely incapable of critical thinking. If they want to bring back casual viewers then they need to show some level of responsibility and remorse for how things were handled.
Ultimately I feel the worst for the people who had nothing to do with any of this and are being forced to suffer for the crimes of their coworkers. Pretty much all of Iluna, xSoleil, Krisis, and TTT are just trying to do their thing while watching the branch burn down around them. Feels fucking bad for them.
