Some people will listen to any new music, but I'm sure plenty others will only listen to specific members, or skip over songs they don't think will be good. I mean, looks at Polka's most listened too songs. Envy Baby, Vampire, Bakusho, PO. All chaotic/crazy songs, fitting the "Joker" meme's around her. It wouldn't surprise me if people skip over other songs, feeling they won't be good/won't fit her.
Hololive members seem to be saddled with stereotypes pretty early on, and breaking them isn't always easy. Watame had to basically release a full album of originals before she started getting included among top Hololive singers. Sucks, but it is what it is for now.
