I can skirt around some lines by virtue of settings meaning some things are inevitable, but that's still just the equivalent of having my balls planted firmly on the line but not crossing it. I have an entire, finished story sitting my Docs that I'm supposed to comb over for characterization inconsistencies but I keep getting either sidetracked or feel like I'm still missing something. I can do bodily stuff well enough but for brats as "proper characterization" dependent as them, I'd be a terrible choice of author.
