i hate hate hate genshin with a passion. i tried it on release and got through the entire game's content and every treasure chest in like 2 days. i originally approached it like an actual open world game with exploration and secrets but it's just farming a bunch of dailies. i uninstalled it on day 3 and never touched it since. the only reason i bother watching finana's streams of it sometimes is because she really enjoys it, but i can personally never enjoy gacha, especially gacha that is super greedy with how much free stuff they give. something like granblue or touhou lost word or azur lane where farming gacha pulls is extremely easy would be a lot more enjoyable, but the rate at which you get new characters in genshin as a f2p player just makes me hate the devs.
so glad my oshi never got into gacha games, though lately she's getting addicted to YGO that's not so bad since she's in it for the gameplay.
