if you set your system clock to any date in april, the current/old code will work. it only checks at launch. mkvtoolnix can open mpls files too but I never checked if it preserves the chapters or not. path in the disc structure should be \BDMV\PLAYLIST\#####.mpls
then just drop that into foobar2000 and convert it to your format of choice. 2.xx versions can just load mkv as is. and it looks like I just discovered a bug, it chokes when chapters have titles in multiple languages, kek
