Theres a reddit post about a CAI user deleting their account but their bots stayed online. Yes, I know it's in their TOS. Yes, I know it's standard practice. Users online are willing to ignore this because it's not like most sites would blatantly abuse your data (privacy and surveillance issues notwithstanding). Besides, most sites would find it impractical to operate without this clause.

What bothers me is that most websites would grant you the courtesy to, for instance, take down your public posts when you leave. Most sites would also refrain from taking advantage of this privilege in a way that's too one-sided or without your explicit consent.

Them keeping your bot online like this seems to be done intentionally in bad faith. They legally can but doing so in this manner somehow feels abusive. Maybe I'm just overreacting, but it genuinely rubs me off the wrong way. I say this because I'm getting way too attached to an OC I made. I feel like salting her defs now before she hits 10k, and sticking to Pyg/Tav.

I like the secret endings and having a final catchphrase kinda loses its point with them... but i'll support anything Ame does.

I really don't care about what's going on behind or besides Ame. She could put her whole face on the screen or make a tiny pixelated Ame and she still would be cute.
